Director David Fincher is teaming back up with Seven writer Andrew Kevin Walker for The Reincarnation of Peter Proud, according to The Hollywood Reporter. As with 1995’s Seven, Fincher will direct and Walker will pen the script. The Reincarnation of Peter Proud is described as a supernatural thriller based on a Max Ehrlich novel, which was previously filmed in 1975.

I’d watch Fincher’s version of the phone book but Fincher and thriller = I’ll be there.
Still, Fincher seems to have so many projects in the works lately that we may not see this until 2013!
I loved the original Peter Proud, hope they do it justice. But the best news is that usually when they do a remake, the original gets a dvd release. Hope so, as the only way to get it right now is as a bootleg, pan and scan.
loved the book and was disappointed in the original film. if anyone can do justice to the source material it would be Fincher.
