CBS is developing a comedy script based on Twitter account ‘Sh– my dad says,’ according to the Hollywood Reporter. Launched in August, the account from Justin Halpern, 28, of San Diego has already attracted more than 700,000 followers. Will & Grace creators David Kohan and Max Mutchnick will executive produce and supervise the writing of the script. The comedy’s title will change if it gets on the air.

I love his blog but this is ridiculous, I hope it flops!
That is kinda funny. The Onion said something similar about sh!t my dad says a few weeks ago! The Onion predicts the future haha!
I see this being like in between Everybody Hates Chris and Everybody Loves Raymond. Ray the Teen Years.
The tweets are hilarious…but I am kinda bitter… in the “wish I had thought to do that” way.. really bitter haha. My dad comes out with some good stuff now at age 55… can’t wait to see in the years to come haah
Doesn’t the dad swear, like…all the time? How’s that going to translate to network tv? It’ll just be yet another curmudgeonly old dude. This is a terrible idea. I wish people would stop trying to awkwardly integrate new media into old media.
