A&E has announced that The Jacksons: A Family Dynasty will premiere Sunday, December 13 with back-to-back one-hour episodes beginning at 9 p.m. ET/PT. According to the network’s press release, the reality series follows the lives of Michael Jackson’s brothers Jackie, Jermaine, Tito and Marlon “as they prepare for a Jackson Five reunion, while also coming to terms with Michael’s tragic loss.” Footage will include the brothers’ rehearsals for the 40th anniversary concert and the recording of vocals for a song from the Michael Jackson’s This Is It soundtrack.
Beginning December 20, the series will move to its regularly scheduled time slot of Sunday at 10 p.m. ET/PT.

The Jacksons were famous b4 the ever was a Michael Jackson King of Pop. I think its great to get an inside look at the family. Everyone acts as if MJ had no family and as if he had issues with his family. Damn let the family do the show without grieve from the public

You are clearly somebody that never grew up watching the Jackons from the 1960’s thru the early 1980’s. Do some research on the internet of the HIT RELEASES THAT INCLUDED MJ KNOWN AS THE JACKSON 5. They are his family who should profit from MJ’s legacy the public, the tshirt man on the corner or the guys selling home cd’s at events on the corner. People are blowing me away. I am from Gary, Indiana born 1968. I have been a fan of all the Jacksons and my aunts went to school with MJ’s oldest brothers. I think let them do what they want.
I think it is great to finally put the rest the notion that the Jacksons is not a normal black family. Marlon, Jackie and Tito are the truth. Jermine I find very selfish. MJ was the greatest and we will never understand the torment he had to endure. RIP MJ and god bless the Jackson family.

Sorry, but who’s gonna waste their time watching these deadbeats? I find it sickening the way this family has very publicly been profiteering of their dead brother. That is sick! They don’t call them dysfunctional for nothing. They have more than earned the title.
It is only now that he has passed, we get a glimpse into MJ’s misery. No one should fault him for seeking an unconventional mean to find some sleep. His family did all they could to make his life miserable.

Who is gonna sing lead? They should just accept that without Michael, there is no group. And even before he passed, MJ released a statement last november 2008, stating he did not want to have anything to do with the reality show nor a group reunion. So I hope they will respect MJ’s wishes and leave his children out of their mess.
Give them a break, they each had to live through the same hell Michael lived through!

You know they may not have had as much success as Michael after the early ’80s, but they have still been performing a long time. There are plenty of non-MJ Jacksons songs I like.
The question I have is why is Randy not in the group?
Oh, and anyone who saw the British doco The Jacksons Are Coming from a few years ago will know that Tito and Jackie are both charming, normal and likeable guys.
