Actor Morgan Freeman has settled a lawsuit concerning his 2008 car accident in Mississippi, according to the Associated Press. Freeman was sued for medical expenses, pain and suffering, lost wages, permanent disability and property damage by his passenger, Demaris Meyer, who claimed the actor had been drinking the night of the accident. No criminal charges were filed. Details of the settlement are not available, and neither attorney would discuss the terms of the deal.
