A rep for Levi Johnston, the young man best known as the father of former Alaskan governor Sarah Palin’s grandchild, has released a statement to Twitter in the wake of a sketch on last night’s Tonight Show with Conan O’Brien in which actor William Shatner read a series of tweets attributed to Johnston as spoken-word poetry.
The text of the statement, obtained by Entertainment Tonight: “My client, Levi Johnston, is being impersonated on your media (Twitter) and this is leading to libel and slanderous statements being attributed to him. … We want you to put an immediate end to this illegal activity. … You are being used as a medium to promote this illegality and we want immediate action. … You are now on notice and must take steps to put an end to what is clearly against the law and against your policy. … We want to know what steps you will be taking to correct what is clearly a problem which is escalating.”
According to the Huffington Post, Johnston’s attorney has also asked NBC to retract the sketch. When contacted by EW, a spokesman for the Tonight Show had no official comment.

Levi Johnston is saying, through his lawyer, that it isn’t his Twitter account and someone is pretending to be him.
The Twitter account IS unverified, to be fair, and the Tonight Show should have mentioned this since the chances it’s an imposter are pretty high.
Let’s see him naked in Playgirl first, then he can go away.
It’s so sad when people don’t realize they are nothing more than a national joke. (Levi’s baby-mama-in-law included.) He’s never going to be more than a national joke and he should just enjoy whatever amount of money he can make out of being a national joke.
Now if only Sarah Pallin could reach the same conclusion.

“The Box” is just an expanded episode from the “New Twilight Zone” that aired in the 80’s. It was a cute enough episode but there isn’t really a movie in it. She pushes a button that kills someone she doesn’t know and gets a million bucks. Someone she doesn’t know will get the same offer. Surprise!

Oh thank god you said “for comedy’s sake.” It’s been grossing me out that several other people have mentioned wanting to see his Playgirl photos, when the idea of that makes me gag. It’s called satire. You usually can’t sue over satirical or comedic skits or parodies, talk shows, etc. Otherwise there wouldn’t be an SNL or a Conan or a Dave or a Epic Movie, etc etc.
