Danny Boyle plans film about mountaineer Aron Ralston

Danny Boyle and Fox Searchlight are planning a film, 127 Hours, about mountaineer Aron Ralston, Variety reports. The climber was pinned by a boulder in Utah for several days in May 2003 and eventually amputated his lower right arm. Boyle, who also worked with Fox Searchlight on Slumdog Millionaire, will start shooting the film in 2010 for a release later that year. There is no actor cast yet to play Ralston.

If the script and budget are good, there would probably be a number of actors willing to give their right arm to play that role. OMG, did I just say that? Yes I did.
