CBS to expand shows into video games

Categories: News, Television

They already market a video game based on the CSI franchise; now, CBS is expanding its arcade to include games based on The Amazing Race, Survivor, Criminal Minds, Diagnosis Murder, The Ghost Whisperer, and Hollywood Squares, according to Variety. The games will be available for several platforms including the Wii, Nintendo DS, and iPhones, and are expected to hit shelves next year.

The CSI games are crap why are they continuing to add to the garbage?

CSI and Criminal Minds are already combined in one game. Condemned: Criminal Origins and its sequel, Bloodshot. I highly doubt games based off those shows would be better than them.

    Because they make money?

    HEY–what a thought.

This will make the third attempt at a Survivor video game. Think they’ll get it right this time?

Excuse me, why are they making a Diagnosis Murder game? Don’t get me wrong, that was my favorite show of the 90’s, and I’ll see what its all about, but CBS hasn’t even had a TV movie in almost 8 years? Does anybody else REALLY care anymore? Why not make an NCIS game instead?

LOL I too was wondering what was up with the Diagnosis Murder game. All the rest are relatively recent and arguably cool(ish) shows, with the exception of Hollywood Squares, but tic-tac-toe is at least a legit game so it kinda makes sense. But…I enjoyed Diagnosis Murder with my mom back in the day, but a Wii game?? So very random.

I think a Big Brother game would be fun to play. Nominating people, POV and then HOH and voting people out. It would be more intencse than Survivor.
