Anthony Hopkins and Annette Bening have joined Hemingway & Fuentes, a period drama that has been a passion project for Andy Garcia, who will direct, Variety reports. The movie depicts the two decades that author Ernest Hemingway (Hopkins) spent in Cuba while fishing with pal Gregorio Fuentes (Garcia). Bening will play Hemingway’s fourth wife, Mary Welsh Hemingway. Garcia, who hopes to start shooting next summer, co-wrote the screenplay with the famous author’s granddaughter, Hilary Hemingway.
