George Clooney is in talks to take the lead role in Alexander Payne’s The Descendants, Variety reports. He would play a wealthy landowner who takes his daughters on a search for his wife’s lover, in an attempt to keep the family together. The Descendants is set to start shooting in February in Hawaii.
