EW has exclusively learned that rapper Eminem will perform at the American Music Awards, making him the latest addition to a line-up of previously announced acts that includes Jay-Z, Alicia Keys, Jennifer Lopez, The Black Eyed Peas, Kelly Clarkson, Carrie Underwood, Daughtry, and Adam Lambert. The news that Lady Gaga will also perform at the show leaked on Friday. More acts will be announced in the coming weeks, and there is no word yet about which songs these stars will sing.
The American Music Awards will air live from the NOKIA Theatre L.A. Live on Sunday, Nov. 22 at 8 p.m. on ABC. As has been the case for the past two years, winners of the awards at the show will be determined by online voting.

AMA’s are useless nobody has really watched this show for years.
It was the #1 show for it’s time slot last year. Can’t wait for this years show. There’s some good performers.

i have’nt watched this show in a while and when i do it usually is in ff motion on the tape player. i only watch the performers that i feel will be good. I fast forward through all the country western, all the outrageous rock and the boring acceptance speeches. it seems to be better that way. this show has’nt been interesting since the 80’s and i taped nearly all of those shows on VHS and watched a few. They are great and what fun to look back at that time in life. Now, snoozefest except for Kelly and I can’t wait to see Adam. Now that I will have to watch “live”. He is a phenom.
