Fox’s popular new musical-comedy, Glee, has won a Diversity Award from the Multicultural Motion Picture Association. Variety reports that the show’s cast will be celebrated as television’s favorite new ensemble at a ceremony on Nov. 22. Other honorees will include the casts of NCIS: Los Angeles, Parks and Recreation, Lincoln Heights, and actors Taraji P. Henson and Masi Oka.

Corey Feldman faces divorce
Corey Feldman’s wife of seven years has filed for divorce. People Magazine reports that Susie Sprague, who married the 38-year-old actor on the VH1 program The Surreal Life, filed for divorce on Oct. 22 and is seeking sole custody of their 5-year-old son, Zen.
Comedy Central picks up ABC's 'The Goode Family'
Comedy Central has picked up repeats of ABC’s cancelled animated series The Goode Family, Variety reports. Comedy Central plans to air all 13 episodes in January. The story follows a family trying to live a very PC lifestyle. Mike Judge was one of the show’s executive producers and also voiced the lead character. Also, the cable network is in discussions to pick up Fox’s Sit Down, Shut Up.
Emmanuelle Chriqui joins Val Kilmer in 'Georgia'
Emmanuelle Chriqui, who plays Sloan on Entourage, will play the female lead in Renny Harlin’s war film Georgia. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Chriqui will play a Georgian doctoral student who gets entangled with a journalist (Val Kilmer) and his cameraman during the conflict between Russia and Georgia.
Adam Sandler to play twins in 'Jack and Jill'
Adam Sandler is set to star in romantic comedy Jack and Jill, Variety reports. He will play Jack as well as twin sister Jill. Sandler will also produce the Columbia Pictures project for his production outfit Happy Madison. The film will start shooting early in 2010 for a release in early 2011.
Milla Jovovich to star in serial killer thriller
Milla Jovovich has signed on to star in thriller Faces in the Crowd for director Julien Magnat, Variety reports. She will play a woman who survives an attack by a serial killer but can no longer recognize faces, a problem as the killer closes in on her. The project will shoot starting in March 2010.
'Shrek the Musical' headed for DVD release
DreamWorks Animation is planning a DVD release of its Broadway show Shrek the Musical, according to The Hollywood Reporter. During a presentation of third-quarter financial results, CEO Jeffrey Katzenberg noted that Shrek the Musical was filmed about 10 days ago and will be released on DVD in “unique packaging,” THR noted. As EW previously reported, the show ends its Broadway run on Jan. 3.
Zach Galifianakis, Amy Adams in talks for 'Town House'
Zach Galifianakis and Amy Adams are in talks to star in Town House for Fox 2000, Variety reports. John Carney (Once) will direct the long-gestating adaptation of Tish Cohen’s novel of the same name. The story is about an agoraphobic man, who lives with his teenage son in an inherited Boston townhouse, and strikes up a friendship with a call girl. Town House is expected to shoot in summer 2010.
Billy Bob Thornton, Dwayne Johnson team for 'Faster'
Billy Bob Thornton will star with Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson in action drama Faster, Variety reports. George Tillman directs the project, which will start shooting early in 2010. Johnson plays an ex-convict seeking revenge for his brother’s murder. Thornton will play a policeman who trails him.
Idris Elba plots legal drama with NBC
NBC is planning a new legal drama with actor Idris Elba (The Office, The Wire), according to The Hollywood Reporter. Battlestar Galactica and Caprica executive producer David Eick is also on board. The project will follow a lawyer who fights for his clients against a corrupt city government.
