OMG! I can’t believe someone would compare MI to Twilight! I can’t even get into Twilight, the movies are ok but nothing special. I’m sure however that MI will make the most amazing movies. I love this series so much! I work at a bookstore and everyone who asks for a good book I suggest MI. Reading These books just make me so happy. If ever in a bad mood all i have to do is open the pages of one of those books and start to read. Id marry the books if i could, Lol.
I LOVE both the Twilight series and The Mortal Instruments series. although I prefer Twilight, I am majorly excited for this movie!! The books are amazing!!! I really wanna audition for Clary (i have red curly hair and freckles) But please dont diss Twilight!!!
I love both the Twilight and The Mortal Instruments. Bella and Clary are nothing alike in my opinion. Besides, they come from two totally differant worlds. Has anyone considered the fact that Bella and Edward are not siblings and never thought they were, or that Bella is older and in love with a vampire, not a shadow hunter who Clary believes is her brother for most of the second book?
Plus Twilight was Stephanie Meyer’s first book ever and she came up with it from a dream she had. And Cassandra Clare is a pretty new writer too,(im exited for Clare’s new clockwork series and Meyer’s Host2 thats suposedly in progress not to mention the Host Movie)
I hated the Twilight movie, New Moon was great. With a Great director and a good cast i think the movies will be perfect. considering they don’t cut too much out and stay true to the books.
Oh, and i agree with Emily The Hunger Games are great books, and the third one’s coming out in August(the mockingjay! yey!)
If they are interested in making a GOOD Immortal Intruments book they need a good directer like steven speilburg or George Lucas. Because of the type of series it is and the type of movies these directors have done, I would be begging them to do this series

Whoever said that Bella and Clary are anything alike clearly knows nothing about either series. I personally don’t like Twilight, I love the mortal instruments way more. Clary is not some damsel in distress who is constantly falling over her own feet. Also, Jace is way hotter that Edward Cullen will ever be. Also, he doesn’t sparkle. Thats a plus not a negative. Seriously, can any of you give me five good reasons as to why Bella and Clary are anything alike. Answer: No. Because they aren’t.

Clary and Bella do have some things in common. One, they both are annoying. Two, they both have that little love triangle thing going on.
i like twilight but i love the MI and i think cassandras a better wrighter considering that shes writing the ID series while she wrights the next three MI books i also dont think bella and clary are anything alike but i also dont think stephanie is a bad wrighter i just think that after u read the MI twilight just seems a bit boring but mabe thats just me

I think The Mortal Instruments will make an amazing movie!:)I personally hate Twilight…And enough about the teen pregnancy bit, what about the necrophilia going on there?XD Either way she went, Edward or Jacob,she would have crossed a sexual boundary. Let’s see, necrophilia or bestiality…That’s a toughieXD But anyway, I am all for a Mortal Instruments movie! At least one, to see if it is any good, and I know every fan will go see it, so they won’t lose money if the first one sucks and they don’t make a second one^-^
You actually make it appear so easy together with your presentation but I in finding this matter to be really one thing that I think I’d never understand. It seems too complex and very extensive for me. I’m looking ahead for your subsequent publish, I’ll attempt to get the dangle of it!
