Writer Augusten Burroughs is partnering with Katalyst Films to develop new TV projects, Variety reports. The team is already working on a firefighter/arson investigation drama The Nature of Fire at CBS, and a Showtime comedy based on his book Dry, about an advertising executive trying to get sober. Burroughs will write both projects. Separately, Bryan Fuller and Bryan Singer are adapting another Burroughs book, Sellevision, for NBC.

Thats cool..
“Dry” is a comedy? I don’t think so.
Yeah. Dry is funny, but not a comedy. But i trust Augusten will do it right.
I think that’s a wonderful idea. Augusten’s work is all about making his dark life better with the smog of comedy. I cannot wait to see it!
