Total crap. They already charge us for their content by having tons of commercials.
Appreciate the value – not use Hulu…whatever…
that sucks.
agreed. This is total crap.
Are you kidding me?!?!?
Uncoincidentally that date in 2010 will be the same one that I remove Hulu from my bookmarks and replace it with Fancast.
since Im not in the states I can’t use hulu now so no big deal for me
Hulu has the worst buffering speed of any site out there. I quit using it a long time ago. Good luck getting people to pay for that frustration!
THIS! Couldn’t agree more about both Hulu AND Netflix’s lame-ass attempts at buffering. Here’s a lesson… If I have to wait 30 minutes for the damn show to buffer, I might as well just torrent it!
On my computer, Hulu streams just fine, so maybe it’s your computer or connection… just saying…
Same. It’s actually quite impressive how quickly it streams for me. One of the several reasons I like Hulu.
This is kind of a setback for me. I use Hulu to catch up on shows when I’m behind and didn’t Tivo them. I don’t really care either way, but I do think this will only serve to end Hulu. As it was stated before, Hulu users feel entitled to their “free” t.v. and I’m pretty sure Hulu will only suffer lack of veiwers, thus effectively ending their business.
I’m not losing any sleep over this (it is just television folks) but I still think it won’t work out.
Plus, if network sites and others continue to post their content free, traffic to Hulu will pretty much drop to zero. That’s too bad, but I guess it had a good run.
I agree with others if it is going to be charged then they should offer commercial free as well as a better quality of stream. but if it going to charge me than hell I could just buy a second DVR and record the shows I miss commercial free that way.
Dang da man
my thoughts exactly, cheaper to pay $5.99 for a second dvr. Will the networks still offer them for free online?
guess I won’t be using hulu anymore. too many other sites have the same content but don’t charge.
My New Years Resolutions:
1-eat healthier
2-exercise
3-delete Hulu from Favorites
The day Hulu starts charging is the day I start boycotting.
At least it’s not YouTube that’s decided to start charging.
It figures! Anything for a buck! I’ll just buy a DVR or TIVO. It’s cheaper in the long run!
sigh… This really blows.
