Google to launch music search pages

Tags: ,

Starting next week, Google will add another dimension to its Internet omnipresence by adding music search pages, according to the Associated Press. Modeled after Google’s financial news service, the pages will also include music or band images and news, along with song previews and downloads courtesy of music streaming and sharing sites Lala and iLike.

Though the sources spoke anonymously, they told the AP that the idea has been in the works for a year.
