Selena Gomez is in advanced talks to star in new comedy What Boys Want, Variety reports. New Line bought the pitch by Amy Andelson and Emily Meyer, about a teenage girl who can hear what men are thinking.

    So it took two people to pitch a ripoff (or, excuse me, a reimagining) of “What Women Want”? They couldn’t even change the title around a bit?
