ABC Family may soon order a pilot for new drama Pretty Little Liars, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The series, based on young-adult novels by Sara Shepard, would follow a group of female high-school friends brought together by uncanny circumstances. Privileged‘s Lucy Hale is close to signing on as the pilot’s star.

I like Lucy Hale. She did a great job on “Privileged” and “Sorority Wars” (1st time I’ve ever watched an original Lifetime movie from beginning to end).
