Prosecutors say that last year’s Big Brother winner used his prize to buy oxycodone, the Associated Press reports. Adam Jasinski, 31, reportedly spent his $500,000 prize on thousands of the prescription pills, which he then allegedly tried to sell to a government witness. Jasinski was arrested and charged Saturday in Massachusetts.

I thought Dan won last year and ED before that? Who’s Adam?
Big goofy blond guy. He won the “winter edition” of BB last year that ran because of the writer’s strike. Dan did win the regular summer edition.

Just looked it up – Adam won in Season 9 – not last year. It’s sad when the reporter get things wrong. I hope the prosecutor didn’t do the same.
For just looking it up you should look at the dates it aired too. It aired from feb to april 2008, which was last year! Its sad when people take shots at reporters and then find out they were wrong.
I know Steve said it, but I must too. 2008 was last year. They just shouldn’t have phrased it as him being the single winner from that year.

That was the first thing I remembered when I heard this story. That’s part of the reason he won. Ryan said he would use it on himself and his nasty girlfriend while Adam planned to help kids.

I don’t watch Big Brother but I’m wondering if he was so disgusting how did he win? Did he just say that kind of stuff to the camera in private or did he talk that way around the others? Don’t they have to vote for the winner? Ugh.
He completely lucked out. The whole cast was pretty foul, except for about 3 who they got rid off early.
Adam did nothing of worth in a game-sense. He was lucky to survive the first week, and after that was just part of the alliance that won things, until the end when his rivals were a 50 year old woman, a sweet but stupid blonde who was useless at everything, and a guy who had already been voted out once who was alligned with him. He couldnt really lose.
He was pretty likeable and funny, actually. And he never backstabbed anyone. And he was pretty physical so we could win those challenges. Plus Ryan, the guy he went up against at the end, was a complete d-bag.
I stopped watching Big Brother, when that guy, Evel (his spelling) Dick won. Don’t miss seeing it all. Looks like this Adam is as bad as Dick was.
I can’t remember- is he the one that liked to eat baby food? The comedy greats: Tom & Jerry, Abbot & Costello, Laverne & Shirley…Adam & Sheila! Maybe they can reunite for a reality show when he gets out of the big house. BB needs to do an “old-timers” edition where they get the oldest people from each season to compete so they’ll have a chance. Just think- Shelia, Renny, Jerry, Chicken George and anyone else I can’t seem to remember right now.
