Does this include DVR numbers because i had to DVR it since it moved to Fridays and I’m sure I’m not the only one. By the way! It was great!

I stayed home to watch Ugly Betty because I love this show and I don’t want it to get cancelled…….but come on Friday nights are my night to go out and have a good time. I can’t promise I will stay home every Friday for Betty. Movie it to Monday or Tuesday.
It’s a death knell for Betty so I will enjoy it while I can.

I’d almost like to see it on Wednesday with the other Comedies. I’d give up Eastwick, Hank, and the Middle for that. Betty must live.
5 million viewers? Something is DEFINITELY wrong with this picture! How is ABC going to justify putting shows like Samantha Who and In the Motherhood in a TEMPORARY place where a PERMANENT show like Ugly Betty SHOULD ALWAYS BE! ABC is really messing over a GREAT show! For those who have DVR and can actually watch it later, it still doesn’t do the show justice when ratings come in and it’s LOW! Why should a quality show like Ugly Betty have to suffer for these other trash shows on the network? That lineup you had with Ugly Betty and Grey’s Anatomy was perfect, so why screw over a good thing? ABC should expect a petition to be forthcoming to get the show moved back to Thursday nights or a night other than Friday because US BETTY FANS don’t want to see this show go!
For everyone saying they didn’t see promos or commericals for Ugly Betty’s premiere, ABC did run them…just not very often. They used the old M People song “Movin’ On Up” (from 1994) to imply Betty’s new position as an editor instead of an assistant, BUT ABC definitely only stared running the promos 2 weeks ago, since ORIGINALLY Betty was set to permiere on Friday, October 9th at 8pm, as per the EW Fall Tv Preview issue that his the stands the week after Labor Day. So not only did ABC bump the already late premiere an additional week (hence the 2 hours instead of 1) BUT they also made the debut for the Friday night of MLB play-offs, which yes, I’m sure fans of baseball don’t watch Betty that seriously, but many of their wives or girlfriends may, but there was no way they were getting that remote Friday night. Funny how no one here has yet to mention the play offs. Guess there aren’t too many sports fans peppered in with Pop Culture fans these days…
The show seems to be losing steam. The whole world against Betty theme is tired. They should be pursuing a storyline about Justin and his sexuality which is never really covered on this show. Additionally, Willy’s daughter and her relationship with seemingly deceased boyfriend came out of left field and doesn’t fit with the storyline. I am curious to see how that handle things this season but Friday is usually the kiss of death for a tv show, which suggest they don’t have a lot of confidence in it anymore. It’s a shame, the show still has potential with some good writing.
I live for MUST SEE TV THURSDAY NIGHTS. When Will and Grace went off the air I was thinking what next…then grey’s anatomy, then Ugly Betty!!! Ugly Betty is one of my Fav’s and Friday nights is the worse place for this show…I have to TiVo the show now…Why not move Betty to Mon, Tues, Wed? What was ABC thinking moving to Friday night…Sucks but it does seem like ABC is trying to cancel Betty!
The show was fun most of the first season, by the time the 2nd season started it sucked. It should be put out to pasture.
Even I’m not in America ,but I download the show from the internet.It’s such a great show but I wish they move it to other day
I guess I’ll start doing a petition to convince ABC to move the show to Tuesday or Wednesday
