They cancelled Southland and they picked up this.
Whatever.
Never watched Southland, but this seems like a slap in the fans’ face of that show.
This is the first thing I thought too. I guess they are just weeding out any show that requires thinking.
my thoughts exactly!!! Now they know they could have kept Southland on. Anybody know if TNT will take the show? I am still upset about Southland, and I am now more upset to see they took this stupid show!!!
Adults can consent to being talked to like Jillian talks to them but if she has the same tone with children that’s abusive and no better than other reality shows where drama and conflict takes priority over anything else. I’m out.
While I agree with what you are saying, I think we should see the show first before we prejudge it. I think she is aware that you have to treat children differently.
As long as she continues to be a trainer on Biggest Loser I’m fine with this.
No room for “Southland” but plenty of room for this type of trash & Jay Leno.
this is the dumbest thing i have ever heard of. and i actually like biggest loser.
agreed!!
spoiler alert: in the end, the viewers are the biggest losers ;(
Five hours of Leno, now three hours of weight loss. Have NBC just given up?
Next for NBC-an hour of bright shiny objects
What they need to do is have her go to previous BL contestants homes to see how fat they are now. That show is a joke, most of the winners are fatter than ever. they were all on Oprah last season. It is insane to have people losing 15 lbs. a week. I can’t wait until someone drops dead on that show and sues NBC for the $5 they still have.
And why do they always have an overweight host on that show? Maybe Louie Anderson for next season.
uh, hello…do you even WATCH The show? Alison Sweeney is NOT overweight!
She’s not exactly skinny either. Um Hello DOOL was always threatening to fire her for being fat. Just b/c you are a chunk don’t stick up for her. She is tv fat. Sorry.
How could a dead person sue them?
STFU with your fat-shaming, fat-hating nonsense. If you want to criticize the way the show has people lose weight, and point out that it’s unhealthy to drop seven-15 lbs in a week, knock yourself out, because that’s legitimate criticim. But the fat phobia you’re demonstrating with your swipes at Allison Sweeney is really ugly. You might have had a decent point, if your crappiness as a person hadn’t overshadowed it.
Has there been a photo that has surfaced of Jillian when she used to be a fatty?
Can’t wait to watch to see the show. I love The Biggest Loser. I blame The Jay Leno for the cancellation of Southland. NBC needs to cancel Jay to make room for other shows, or maybe have Leno once a week.
Yeah I agree- Leno should be once a week for those people who still want to watch. Even though I am not one of them.
Yes, once a week is a good idea for those who would like to continue to watch the stupid show, and at least that will leave plenty of room for great shows like Southland!!
Shouldn’t NBC be the reality network now, to replace one cancelled? That is all this hack network is good for!
I think that they want to continue on the theme of the people losing weight returning homw to their families and Jillian is there to support them and comfort them.
Ick! I am so tired of her pop-up ads that I never want to see her face anywhere ever again!
This is all about NBC for saving/ making money. Reality is cheap. They obviously do not care over at GE. They have been killing that network for years.
I love the Biggest Loser but I think this is a bad idea. A little of Jillian goes a long way. Too much and people are going to get tired of her and tune out. It will hurt both shows.
