Roman Polanski removed from Swiss jail for medical treatment

Say what you will about Polanski, he was a caring and devoted husband:

Kiernan reports that Polanski secretly planned to remain in Europe until the baby was born. “Then maybe I could go back and find Sharon the way she used to be.”

He was with some, friends, “sipping champagne, passing a marijuana cigarette around … when the phone rang” in his London flat. His wife and unborn child were just stabbed to death in a gory satanic ritual in California.

The grieving husband now rushed home and, “posed at the entrance of the death house for Life magazine a week after the slaughter. He charged Life $5,000 for this picture.”

Celebs you wish you go away – Kirstie Allie, Leno, Chris Rock – have been denouncing Polanski for the same reason the avant garde celebs rallied behind him thirty years ago and today: image enhancement: phony bastards either way. 99.9% of our Hollywood elites, politicians, whatever, are narcissistic con artists AT BEST: ped predators at worst. The signatories on the Polanski cheerleading list are saying, “It’s OK if one of us does your kid, as long as it’s not mine. The one exception would be Woody Allen, who almost certainly would not have a problem with a fellow elite taking a poke at his natural or adopted child. It’s not hard to imagine – though we’d rather not – Woody and Roman swordfighting over a youngster. Kudos to Woody Allen Koenigsberg: the only individual on that list who is not a hypocrite.
