The CW’s new shows in development include space-set soap opera Plymouth Rock, an update of Little Women called The March Sisters and two new projects from One Tree Hill executive producer Mark Schwahn. Variety reports that Schwahn is working on Spy School for Girls and Nashville. The latter is a drama about country singers; Brad Paisley has helped create the show and will also write songs for it and appear as himself. The CW is also working with Gossip Girl and Vampire Diaries producer Alloy Entertainment for Confessions of a Backup Dancer, which The L Word‘s Ilene Chaiken will write. Also in the works an equestrian world family soap, Bitches in Britches; and an untitled family drama based on the life of socialite Sloan Barnett.

In 1991 there was a TV movie called Plymouth that was a space opera about the inhabitants of the small town of Plymouth who have to relocate to a lunar colony after an environmental accident destroy their town.
I wonder if this new project will be related to that.
