Leona Lewis attacker charged

Categories: Music, News

Twenty-nine-year-old Peter Kowalcyzk, the man who allegedly punched Leona Lewis in the head yesterday at a book signing in London, has been charged with assault and placed in an area for prisoners with mental-health issues, according to People magazine.

Today, Lewis, who received a bruising blow to the side of her head, wrote about the incident on her website, saying to fans, “Thank you so much for your support, it is truly overwhelming. Yesterday (Wednesday) was a horrible shock and left me extremely hurt and upset. I’m very sorry to those I wasn’t able to meet at the signing. Thank you again for all of the lovely messages. Love you all.”

What a complete scuzzball. Leona is one fine woman. She dont deserve that

  • Sean

Yeah, and she doesn’t deserve it, either.

Glad they caught the guy – let’s find out what he was thinking!

  • Nate

He was thinking that no one at the old ripe age of 24 should be writing their life story. He didn’t have to punch her yes, but she and other *old* celebrities in their 20s need to stop with this autobiography crap already.

It’s not her life story dumbass, it’s a book of photos. don’t buy the book if you don’t like. how would you feel if it was your mom or sister?

      • Tom

She’s not your mother mother or sister so calm down big man!

From the short few times that I have seen Leona Lewis she has been a Class Act young lady….If I was Leona Lewis, after they caught him, I would have said, “Wait” then I would have Punch him in his Face to let him see how it feels and in the same spot on his face like he did to me…What a Jurk!

I am very glad that he was charged. This isn’t funny or in any way justified. She was there to meet with her fans–if you don’t like her book, stay home. Nobody has the right to strike someone just for “fun” or to get it on the internet. Those kinds of things should be omitted by any responsible site.

Good that they caught that imbecile jerk! Now, LOCK HIM UP!!!!!!
