Gus Van Sant, Bret Easton Ellis team for 'Suicides'

Filmmaker Gus Van Sant is teaming with author Bret Easton Ellis to write a feature film about the double suicide of Theresa Duncan and Jeremy Blake, Variety reports. The film will be adapted from Nancy Jo Sales’ Vanity Fair article The Golden Suicides, about the artist couple who killed themselves in 2007. Van Sant is only invovled as a writer at this point and is not attached to direct.
