Carrie Underwood will headline a variety special for Fox, according to The Hollywood Reporter. American Idol creator Simon Fuller is executive producing the two-hour show. The singer will perform hits, holiday classics, new songs and comedy bits in the Dec. 7 show “Carrie Underwood: An All-Star Holiday Special.” Guests who will join her include Dolly Parton, Brad Paisley and David Cook.

Yes, they did. And Underwood better back off! She can stop Jennifer Hudson from achieving the triple come Emmy time. She already has an Oscar and a Grammy.

Sounds like fun! I’m loving the idea of Carrie Underwood, Brad Paisley, and Dolly Parton on the same program! Hey maybe Carrie could have the cast of Glee on since NBC won’t have them! They’ve already done one of her songs and they’d be a perfect fit for a variety show!
