Fringe creators Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci are teaming up with CSI:NY exec producer Peter Lenkov to develop and co-write a pilot that will relaunch ’70s cop show Hawaii Five-O for CBS. Lenkov will be showrunner if the series gets picked up. The original series starred Jack Lord, and ran from 1968-80.

no, just stop it already.
Please no, this won’t work with any CSI involvement, hawaii 5-0 was great because it involved old fashioned detective work, hitting the pavement, using shady contacts for info….complete opposite of CSI which relies on pseudoscience and supermodels wearing lab coats and carrying guns at the same time. The entire CBS lineup is a joke.
As long as they use the theme song, I’m good.
Oh yeah! One of the greatest TV themes of all time.
It’s official…hollywood is lazy. Stop with the remakes!!!
I wonder if the new lead will have a better rug than Jack Lord?????
Enough of the remakes already. Come on Hollywood…come up with something original for once, both TV and film!
Old fashioned police shows like Hill Street, NYPD Blue, just don’t fly these days (look at Southland). They would need to do a CSI Honolulu.
i have an awesome idea for a tv series or film franchise.
WHATEVER WAS THE NO.1 TV SHOW 20 YEARS AGO!
what day and time will cbs air hawaii five- o
