Ellen Page is moving into writing and producing with HBO project Stitch N’ Bitch. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Page will write the single-camera comedy with Alia Shawkat (Arrested Development) and Sean Tillmann (aka musician Har Mar Superstar). The three — who all appear in Whip It — will also executive produce the project and may star. The story will follow two hipster girls who move from Brooklyn to Los Angeles in the hopes of becoming artists.

Why would they have to move all the way to the West Coast to become artists? They could just do so in NYC? Now if the show was about hipsters that take up knitting…this could be a bit more interesting. Plus, the title would make more sense.
