Oh good, Idol Gives back was one of my favorite parts of seasons six and seven. Now as long as they don’t cruely eliminate anyone…
seriously! poor michael johns.
i know! i guess they have to do something new each year to keep people watching. michael johns should have lasted a little longer, but oh well, lol. i’m glad idol gives back is back. people don’t have to donate if they don’t want to or can’t afford it, but it’s nice that idol is helping out other countries and the usa.
I’m confused I could have sworn last season Ryan said on air that Idol Gives back would return next season on a every other week schedule. Am I imagining that announcement or can some one back me up on this?
all i remember is that ryan said idol gives back was canceled for that season because of the economy. i don’t remember the every other week thing.
He said every other YEAR, not week. Hence it not being on last year but being on this year.
Crass commercialism featuring untalented performers and of course the producers fooling audience into thinking they actually care. Love Idol for the passion of the REAL wanna-be’s (not the fools on show on a bet… but then I skip that part).
As long as Kelly Clarkson is there, I’m happy.
^I agree w/u there Jonathan. The 2008 IGB was not the same without KC. Too bad she was overseas touring then. Hopefully her tour will be over when this happens for this season. I would love another performance like the one she gave for “Up to the Mountain” at the 2007 IGB.
thank god theyre doing something right!
If it’s going to be held on a results show I don’t think there will be an elimination that week.
Good for AI! But I| wish they would bring integrity to the voting process so that the best talent actually wins. Everywhere I go people are so please to see the pre-sales of Adam’s album doing so well. In fact, Adam is outselling the official “winner” by more that 8 to 1, as of the last time I checked. I hope
#HAPPYFORADAM or a similar phrase will soon trend on twitter.
Maybe they can “give back” to Paula who reently lost her job to a millionaire…she may be the biggest charity case…..did you see VHI Divas,,,,,come on, jordan sparks, who are they kidding, Paula and those stupid fire jokes with our D list sister, shamefull, made my tv cringe…
obviously like your web site however you have to check the spelling on several of your posts. Several of them are rife with spelling problems and I in finding it very bothersome to tell the reality nevertheless I will definitely come back again.
