A new documentary, Robsessed, will explore the frenzy surrounding Twilight star Robert Pattinson. Revolver Entertainment will release the documentary on DVD in November, timed to the theatrical launch of the second Twilight film, New Moon. A TV airing for the feature-length documentary is also possible. In addition, Revolver will offer the documentary in a DVD box-set with The Haunted Airman, a 2006 drama also starring Pattinson.

I’m a huge Twilight fan, but I just don’t understand why ew.com insists on writing articles about every single Twilight or Rob-related piece of “news”. C’mon now. Was this article really necessary?

Okay so I wanna see the documentary…Also I hope that Robert doesn’t take this whole Twilight thing to heart there are plenty of actors who have been chased and obsessed over because of a movie role this shouldn’t be anything new to him he’s seen the chaos that surrounds the Harry Potter movies…and can’t honestly believe that no one from this cast didn’t “oh crap, this movie is gonna be huge…a cult classic for teenage girls and boys alike”as far as I’m concerned the mass hysteria has only just begun Rob Kristen buckle your seat belts btw huge fan of the whole cast

um…i think that’s the point. it is clearly an obsession whether you like him or not. EW is not the only publication guilty of his over-saturated coverage, it’s MOST of the tabloids at fault. what actor gets mobbed while filming in the streets of NY? not many have created such a feeding frenzy like rob. what’s more sad is that the fans have created this need for coverage and they will also be responsible for his downfall when the frenzy dies (as most do). if you don’t like it, don’t read it. if you don’t want to watch the documentary, don’t. seems simple to me.
I love Robert Pattinson, but seriously, ew.com writes way too many articles about him and Twilight. I for one would be happy if they only wrote articles about newsworthy Twilight-related things, such as the official trailer or new clips.

As if this is the first time a good-looking young actor has shot to fame after starring in a popular movie. They’re just trying to make money off of his popularity and it’s creepy.

Pattinson’s (and by extension, Twilight’s) “fame” is circular. He’s a phenom! How do we know? Because mags like EW keep writing about him! Why does EW keep writing about him? Because he’s a phenom! See what I did there? He’s famous because we keep getting told he’s famous.
Here we go..Robert Pattison is not gross nor ugly. The Twilight saga has made Rob Patterson very popular at this moment. I do not believe Rob approved of this video and if he did he was misguided by his management. Rob does not like all this fuss–all he wants to do is act and write music. What will end of happening is that Rob will tire of all this and leave acting for good. Sad for his fans…Hopefully, his sisters and parents keep him grounded and get him thru all this.
