Am I the only one here who thinks Child Protective Services should be called in??? I mean 8 kids and neither parent is holding down a real job? Is TV the only way they can make a living? What did they do before the TV show? I’m sick of these two!!!! And I feel for those poor kids.
This turkey cut off the show. How are he and his former wife going to support 8 kids without the show? Talk about stupid.
The kids are the ones getting seriously hurt by all this and I blame the parents and TLC for all that has transpired here as of late. These two seriously need some guidance and the GM/President of TLC should be held accountable for this with her being removed from her position immediately.
Yeah they made money off their kids. They had a chance to make the money that would pay for the kids when they didn’t have the means to do it before the show. John and Kate took advantage yes, but it also benefited those kids. The money John didn’t take that is in the account for the kids is just that. The money they have that most likely can’t be touched by adults or them until they are much older. Such is the way entertainment laws go with regards to children working. As for the amount the parents recieved it was theirs yes, but they used it to support their family. When one grabs all and leaves nothing for the other it is bull pucky of the worst kind. Maybe John didn’t want to do the show any longer, so TLC took him out of it. Why is he so bitter that they did what he wanted? In this economic environment, at least Kate is not on the welfare roles. The kids are getting advantages a lot of others will never have. We can dispise and laugh at them as the go to the bank. But without the show there is no bank, and worst case scenrio, Kate will be in a small apartment raising 8 kids on welfare. Which is better? Seems a judge needs to step in and sort through the bull.
Please, news media, get over these two and give those children a chance! Jon and Kate, the two of you need to grow up and start being “parents” to your children instead of serving your own self interests!
I FIND IT HARD TO believe she hasn’t been putting her book royalties and talk show hosting money in a seperate account. I believe the family gets free groceries from the market they always go to on the show. she always spoke down 2 him so i couldn’t stomach watching full episodes this new tone she has when interviewing is contrived.
I’ve never done this but this is so ridiculous. Stop the maddness. I’m a fan of Kate but stop putting it in the press. Jon is a pathetic whinner. Let it go. You screwed up. You didn’t want to do the work of raising 8 kids. You are a big baby. Get over yourself. Its not about Kate, its about getting out of responsibility. Whimp.
This is only the first of many indications that Jon is not aware of the financial realities that are about to confront him now that he has been fired from the show. Kate is the one who is on the book tour, Kate is the one who will have book residuals. Kate is the one who is continuing to tape the show. Jon has continued to live as if he were still an equal financial partner in this marriage and he is not. He may be able to cultivate some relationship with Ed Hardy, for a time. But by and large, he won’t be pulling down a fraction of what he was, yet he’s still acting like he will be. Look for a bankruptcy on his behalf by 2011, and look for him to continue to blame Kate.
