Ashley Jewell, who was formerly engaged to Kandi Burruss, one of the stars of the Bravo reality series Real Housewives of Atlanta, died from a head injury suffered in a Friday night fight outside an Atlanta strip club where he worked, police confirmed to TV station WSBTV. Police also said that Fredrick Richardson, an employee of the club, has been arrested and charged with voluntary manslaughter. Richardson, who was injured in the brawl, will be taken to Fulton County Jail after he is released by medical personnel. Burruss—a singer-songwriter and member of the now-defunct R&B group Xscape—clashed with her mother on Housewives about her relationship with Jewell, who was known as A.J. and appeared in several episodes of the show. “I could never in a million years imagine this happening,” she posted on her Twitter page. “Please pray for A.J.’s children … that’s who i’m the most concerned for. I’m about to give my swollen eyes some rest now. I just wanted to say thanks two everyone for their prayers.”

The fact of the matter is a person was murdered who happened to be a father and fiance and whose loved ones are now in much pain and heartbreak. My thoughts go out to Kandi and his family.

Mr. Richard who has been charged with voluntary manslaughter is an employee at the strip club. One of the article does not mention why the two men were fighting….it only mention how Mr. Jewell dead, he dead from a head injury. The article also mention Mr. Richardson sustain injuries as well and he’s in the hospital, and once he is release he will be taken to the Fulton County Jail.

He was IRRESPONSIBLE and CARELESS. These children would grow without a father, with or without him being alive. So now he’s an angel for paying child-support? Wow, what a sweet person for actually considering himself responsible for paying for his illegitimate spawn who will grow up without a father. Maybe in his next life instead of starting up a career in exploiting women for money and having bastard children, he will understand that you have to have some sense of humanity and love in this world to respected and cared for after you are gone.

Often people take the jobs they can get in order to provide for their families, whether or not that’s the work they’d like to be doing. My husband was killed several years ago. I know that death didn’t make him a saint, but I can’t imagine how hurtful it would be to hear strangers criticizing and making judgments about him after his death. Do you have any human empathy at all? How do you think it makes his family feel to read your mean-spirited comments? You are certainly entitled to your opinion, but in this case the classy thing to do would be to keep it to yourself.
