Conan O'Brien suffers injury during 'Tonight' taping

Tagged:

Production on the Tonight Show host was halted Friday when host Conan O’Brien hit his head during a stunt for the show. According to the AP, O’Brien checked into a hospital Friday, and NBC would not confirm whether or not the host was released. O’Brien, however, issued a statement through the network: “Last thing I remember I was enjoying the play with Mrs. Lincoln, and the next thing I knew I was in bed being served cookies and juice.” The episode, which was scheduled to include appearances from Teri Hatcher and Seth McFarlane, was replaced by a re-run featuring Jeremy Piven.

UPDATE: NBC says Conan O’Brien is fine, and back to the Tonight Show on Monday
