My prayers are w/his family. I was saddenned by the news of the passing. What a Love him & his wife Lisa shared. May God give her the strenght she needs in this time of sorrow and @ the same time a blessing to know he is not in pain anymore. He was a very strong man and I just Love ALL his movies. May God be with his wife Lisa and Family.

As guys usually are, my buddies and I always found ways to de-sensitize the deep emotional expression of things and stick to the ‘Fonzie’ way of things. So thoughout the years we’d always called Patrick Swayze-Parick SWOSS-EY as sort of an omage to smooth and kickass approach to life and acting. The man was and in my thoughts is a true class act. Greatness like his is only immortalized furthermore in a courageous fight at the end of a life of courageous fighting. Tthe guys and I will be quoting your ‘bank-robbing van speech for years to come. Best wishes to his family and Rip Pat. Hope your spirit is conquering the waves at Bells beach.
God has taken our angel here on earth to be with him, we will miss you greatly. My deepest sorrow goes out to his wife and family for he will be missed greatly. Thank you for all of your movies and showing us how to live life to the fullest. RIP my hero.

Patrick Swayze left a truly amazing film legacy-so many movies that will be remembered. I was very moved by his performance in “To Wong Foo…” We will miss him, but never forget!

I fell in love with Patrick Swayze during the North and the South. I have all of the tapes from both Book 1 and Book 2 and at least once a year watch the entire series over again. Orry Main is my ideal man and Patrick Swayze was the embodiment of Orry Main both on television and in life.
Patrick stole my heart over 20 years ago in Dirty Dancing and he has been there ever since…my heart broke when I heard the news. He was truly a talented actor and wonderful man…I love you Patrick and may you RIP.
