I do like a lot of Kanye’s music, and I’ve overlooked things he’s said/done in the past because of that talent. But last night’s incident was so over the line that I’m done with his music now for quite a while, if not forever.

I just turned on Jay Leno’s show to check it out. As soon as Kanye West’s name appeared I changed the channel. I refuse to give ANY attention to that douchebag and I hope others do the same.
It was NOT a “mistake”. He’s a douchebag, plain and simple, and he’s the reason your kids are douchebags. They idolize that scum and they act just like him.
Kanye did it on purpose. I will not watch the show now that Jay let him on to make a phony apology. Shame on Jay. I thought you were smarter than this.

Did you watch the show? Jay almost made him cry. He brought up his dead mother. Those are fighting words. You don’t bring up a persons dead mother unless you are ready to fight them. Kanye was furious after Jay asked that question, you could see the rage in his eyes.
Stop hating on Leno. He made his opinion loud and clear.

I watched Leno’s interview with Kanye on high-def. He was fighting back the tears. There was no rage. He seemed quite remorseful and ashamed of what he had done.
Shame on Kanye. I was a fan of his until he dissed Taylor like that. What a jerk. Sorry – an apology is not going to “make it go away”
