ABC anchor John Stossel is moving to Fox where he’ll host a weekly show on the Fox Business Network and make regular appearances on Fox News. A noted, and occasionally controversial libertarian, Stossel has been a longtime correspondent and co-anchor for 20/20 where he created regular segments entitled “Give Me a Break.” Stossel wrote on his ABC blog that his new show will “dig into the meaning of the words ‘liberty’ and ‘limited government.’”

He’s an interesting reporter. He definitely has his viewpoint and somerimes that causes him to miss the forest for the trees but he brings something different. Now that he’s with Fox he’ll be lumped in with Beck and O’Reilly in most people’s eyes, which is not really who he is.
He lost all credibility with me when he appeared in Wisconsin with the group “American’s for Prosperity” and told the group that health care, should be for those who can pay for it. He compared it to “Survival of the fittest”. Regardless of what you think about the health care reform in the congress, that’s a pretty sick additude to have.
He has joined the dark side.
If we’re lucky, maybe he’ll interview “Dr. D” David Scultz again.
[Google it - or better yet find it on youtube if you can!]
These guys need to spread out over many different networks. Instead they all lump together on Fox News and can’t reach a wider audience that way.
I am sure he and his stache will fit in quite well at Fox News.
It’s a shame. He used to be great years ago but now he’s become a conservative (i.e., jerk). Fox is the perfect place for him, he can join the other hateful jerks who already work there.
