He is expected to be released on Friday, and intends to start the new season of A Prairie Home Companion as scheduled, on Sept. 26. His spokesman said Keillor “is doing well and the family appreciates the warm wishes.”

That’s a shame. He may not write about vampires or whatever’s hip, but I’ve always found his writing to be wonderful.
Oh, I hope that he has a full and swift recovery. We almost went to the live PHC at the MN State Fair last Friday, but we would have had to pull the kids out of school. Listening to Garrison Keillor is like having a warm blanket around you on a cold, snowy day.
