True Blood co-star Mehcad Brooks will becoming a regular player on ABC’s midseason legal series The Deep End. Brooks will play L.A. law firm associate Malcolm Bennet in the drama. As The Hollywood Reporter points out, this casting move creates doubts about the future of his True Blood character Benedict “Eggs” Talley.

YES!!!!! Please be true! I hate Eggs!
Yes pleae. I am begging you. No more EGGS!!!!
Sadly, Eggs has to go, because if he’s around, Tara will be happy and normal, and not nearly as funny or entertaining. Plus it gives her more time to spar with Layfette, which is always gold.
It’s not looking good for Eggs. Can’t say that I’m sorry to see him go though. Hot as he is, I just never warmed up to him…
I had a feeling Eggs was a goner due to the fact he was in thrall with Maryann from the start. He didn’t have much of an arc like Tara’s. She on the other hand could really go flat in the next season.
He’d better be a shirtless lawyer.
lol!
He is not shirless as of yet, but he is a damn good actor….stay tuned….
Not as of yet, but you can bet that the lying, cheating sleazebag that is Jennifer Preston has a scheme to have his shirt off soon. Ahh…the plot thickens.
