yes she is worth as much as Seacrest or even more !!
when you think about idol 2 names come to your mind SIMON AND PAULA !!
i’m sorry but was the interaction between the ORIGINAL 3 judges what made idol an phenomenon !!
yes paula is loopy and crazy sometimes , but that worked very well for 8 years !!
its sad and wrong to think that when idol comes back in January paula will not be there !!
I’m sure that Paula will do great on anything that she will do next ,
but i still have hope that fox will realize that not having paula on idol is a mistake and they will bring her back !!
if money is the problem then get rid of kara , she add nothing to idol anyway !!

I actually love the idea of the guest judges – they are all interesting – I really like the idea of Shania Twain being on the show, Simon flirting shamelessly and her being very kind and supportive of the performers…

You are so right, Fran. Idol = Simon and Paula, that is always the first thing that comes to mind when anyone mentions that show. I am sick to see her go. I will be even sicker to see Kara sitting where Paula should be. I love to watch AI, but i think the producers have mad a real bad move here.

      • Marcy

Oops! I meant to say “made” a real bad move…but, come to think of of it, I’m kinda mad about it too!

I am so sorry to hear that getting paid millions a year was beneath her. Paula says it’s not about money. But she wanted a private jet for her appearance on Ugly Betty and other outrageous demands. So maybe it is all about ego – as in Paula’s.

    GET PAULA BACK ON IDOL!!!

  • Cleaver

What principle is she talking about? Did I miss something?

    • KImbooo

Yes, you did, Cleaver! Idiot! Clearly!

If they had to lose a judge, I would have much rather it been useless Randy Jackson. This last season Paula was not only coherent, but often insightful. Randy’s sentences consist of some combination of “Yo. Dawg. Wassup. Feelin It. Pitchy. Not feelin it. Da Bomb. I don know man.”

    • me

yo yo yo. You see, for me – for you, the dawg needs to go. He’s just aight for me for you.

  • pink petunia

It was all about money and having her nose out of joint because of Kara Diguardi!

  • BeeserStL

American Idol completely disrepected her. I don’t blame her for leaving.

I do hope Fox reconsiders Paula’s contract request and brings her back on IA. The “Powers to Be” should not make the same mistake that NBC did with the Tonight Show by changing hosts. Consider the ratings, if nothing else

  • Eve

Talk show no, but I hope she does well. She lost me when she was rude to that guy last year who said “Take Care” when he auditioned. Also didn’t care for the way she fawned over Adam last year. Not that Simon didn’t but I think the show has manipulated us once too much. I don’t think I will watch this year. It is way pushing the envelope when it has a song about oral sex in prime time along with all the other over the top stuff they have been pushing.
