Columbia Pictures has commissioned a screenplay for Bad Boys 3, according to the Hollywood Reporter. Peter Craig (The Town) is writing the script; though neither Bad Boys/Bad Boys II director Michael Bay, producer Jerry Bruckheimer, nor stars Will Smith and Martin Lawrence have deals in place, the studio hopes all will return.

I’m listening to the new commentary on Hot Fuzz w/ Edgar Wright and QT. Edgar says he wants to direct Bad Boys 3, that would be so awesome!
