I just worry that with a November release date that the album won’t have as much time put into it as it should. Isn’t there a danger that the whole thing will sound rushed?
I hope not, ben, i hope not. I think it’ll be good though. Only time will tell.
I thought the same thing Ben but they started recording back in May right after Idol ended and once the tour ends in mid Sept. they will have close to a couple of months to finish up. I don’t know how they do it all! They never have a day off. If they’re not doing the tour, they are writing, recording, doing press, photo shoots, etc… It has to be exhausting. I could tell in most of their voices that they are feeling the rigors of non-stop performing. I wish them all the best and much success!
Yeah I didn’t even consider the fact that they have almost no time off from touring when I wrote my original post. I think the creative process and finding inspiration both need time to come to fruition. That being said, given the talent of this season (especially the top five) I doubt any one of them will release something that’s truly bad.

I cannot wait for this album!!! I already know a friend of mine is planning to buy everyone he knows Kris’ debut cd for Kristmas (friend’s words not mine but I like!) but I think I may buy this myself…a couple of times!!!
I live in Kris’s hometown of Conway, AR. I was so excited to be at his hometown parade back in May. Didn’t make it to the local concert because of the enormous crowds but it was still very exciting. I’d like to add that he is so much more handsome in person then he is on tv. By the way… I’m not a teeny bopper. I’m middle aged, married with 3 grown sons. Another thing, I didn’t vote for Kris because I live in Conway, I voted for Kris because of his talent. I’m not going to deny the talent of Adam because he is amazing and so are several of the other Idols. I have friends & family members scattered across the U.S. who also voted for Kris. He’s just more our style, so to speak. Everyone has their fave and that’s cool. I hope all the Idols achieve their dreams one way or another.

I just adore Kris. One word I would use to describe Kris would be REFRESHING. I have never seen anyone so nice, adorable, likeable, positive, refreshing. Even though he did win AMERICAN IDOL, I don’t find anywhere that he has let that go to his head. Matter of fact he is sharing his rightful solo spolight as the American Idol with Adam. It doesn’t seem to bother him that Adam gets alot of the attention that to me the American Idol should get. How sweet is that? I don’t think there will ever be a more genuine person on Idol as Kris Allen! I am a fan of Adam’s too, BUT my heart belongs to Kris.
In ending, why can’t everyone both Kris and Adam fans take a que from these two fine gentelman? They treat each other with respect, why can’t the rest do that? Putting down one or the other will not make your choice seem better, it really makes YOU look like an A**!
Lynne, I agree with you 100%. Kris & Adam are such great friends and amazing talents, each with their own style. Kris has said in interviews that it doesn’t bother him at all that Adam gets so much attention because he deserves it. Kris prefers to fly low under the radar so to speak and just do his thing. Yes, they are BOTH talented and deserve respect.
I would like to make a correction to a comment I made about Adams fans being rude, etc… NOT all of Adams fans are this way at all. Some are very nice and respectful. There are so-called fans of both guys that can say hateful, rude things that are uncalled for. They are both extremely talented and deserve to be treated with respect.

Well, you like who you like… I think they all was great, but I have to be a little bias with my cousin, and I too have not been much of one for the Idol Show, nor releases of their albums/CD’s… I will however be looking forward to Kris’, Adam’s, Alison’s and Danny’s… Just wish homeboy Matt G would get something going… Kris’ fans are KICK AWESOME!!!
