Three-time Emmy-winner (and three-time Oscar nominee) Laura Linney has signed on to star and executive produce The C Word, set to debut on Showtime.
The series follows a woman struggling with cancer while balancing a husband and family in the suburbs. The name is still considered a working title; a pilot has been ordered and will be shot this fall.
They probably should change the title. I thought they meant ANOTHER C word. Just sayin’…
