Twilight director Catherine Hardwicke has signed on to direct The Girl With the Red Riding Hood, according to Variety. The werewolf-themed movie is a gothic retelling of the Little Red Riding Hood story and, much like Twilight it seems, includes a teenage love triangle as a storyline, as well. In addition to Hood, Hardiwcke has recently signed on for several other projects, including Hamlet, If I Stay, 21 Jump Street, and Maximum Ride.
