According to Britney Spears’ official blog, Jordin Sparks will join the second North American leg of the Circus tour as a special guest. Sparks will perform on the U.S. portion including dates in New York City, Los Angeles, Boston, Philadelphia, Miami, Detroit, Chicago and other cities before concluding on Sept. 26 & 27 in Las Vegas.

Those two ladies don’t go together. The record company must have put that headline together because of Jordin’s poor CD sales.
They’re both on the same label. I think that Jordin being the opening act on Britney’s North American tour will make concertgoers purchase her album after the shows. It will benefit Jordin as well as Britney. Even though they’re entirely different with their musics, I believe that this concert package will work.
I think sparky spears will be very grate to hear together. I think i may by ticket if they will be coming here.
I hope Britney doesn’t inspire Jordin to do stupid things.
Wonderful that Jordin Sparks snagged the opening act for Britney Spears’ tour! This could really help those slow album sales of her new album. I have been playing it for most of the past 25 days. This is going to be a good pop music tour package with Jordin’s refreshing pop weaving into Britney’s fun dance pop songs with their concert sets!

It’s all a marketing ploy to boost sales for Jordin Sparks album flop. How unfortunate for Aerosmith to cancel their tour due to Steven Tyler’s fall. Hope Tyler gets well soon!

I agree–I’m not a Jordin fan, but her opening for Britney is going to make it even more obvious that Britney cannot sing at all.
Let’s hope Jordin doesn’t lip synch.

Well this is great news for Jordin and sucky news for Britney. Great for Jordin because it will boost her album sales and get her publicity, but bad news for Brit because it will only make her look bad considering that she can’t sing worth crap compared to Jordin and can’t even dance anymore.
Saw Jordan open for the Jonas Borthers, and she was terrific. She won’t have to do to much different in staging, since both shows are in the round. I think she will definately bring good attention to herself
the PCD opened for britney on the first leg of her tour and sang live and nicole put britney to shame. but no one at her concert expects britney to sing live so i don’t think it really matter if the opening act sings live or not.

I think it is a smart move on Jordan’s part. Britney sold a million copies of Circus in three weeks. Plus Jordan Sparks is awesome!
I find this hysterifail in light of Jordin’s comments at the VMAs last year that amounted to saying that women could only be virgins or sluts… And who is she touring with? And why? For the money. LOL
I thought she was touring with the Jonas Brothers? Oh well, hopefully this will help her with her album sales. Apparently it isn’t doing too hot. :/
