British actress Lucy Punch is set to join Steve Carell and Paul Rudd in comedy Dinner for Schmucks, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Jay Roach will direct the long-planned comedy, which starts shooting in October. Punch previously appeared in CBS series The Class and Ella Enchanted, her forthcoming movies include Universal’s comedy Young Americans and Woody Allen’s untitled London-set film.
The English-language remake of 1998 French comedy The Dinner Game is about friends who try to invite the stupidest guests to a weekly dinner party.
