Variety reports that Will Ferrell and director David Dobkin (Wedding Crashers) have backed out of Fox’s comedy Neighborhood Watch. Ferrell had been set to play a man who uncovers a conspiracy while working with his town’s neighborhood watch program. Night at the Museum director Shawn Levy, who was originally tapped to helm the movie, is still attached as a producer.
