Michael Jackson: Warrants filed today label singer an 'addict'; reveal prescription aliases

The AP reports that investigators searching the properties of Jackson’s cardiologist, Dr. Conrad Murray, were looking for evidence that the doctor had prescribed powerful anesthetics to the singer despite knowing he was an addict. The use of the word “addict” in the search warrants is important, because it is against the law for a doctor to knowingly prescribe drugs to a patient thought to have a chemical dependence.

EW.com UPDATE: According to People, court documents indicate that Jackson sought prescriptions using a variety of aliases, including the names of his personal chef, his son (Prince Michael), a personal assistant, the novelist Jack London, and the actress, Josephine Baker. Authorities obtained this information while investigating Murray.

If the allegation is true, what kind of father uses his son as an alias to get drugs? People should consider this–he was apparently an addict first and a father second. Also, was he in the house with his children while abusing drugs?
