As per EW.com’s Nicole Sperling: Has The Wolf Man turned into a horror film for Universal Pictures? The studio announced Tuesday that it will again postpone the release of the remake –starring Benicio Del Toro, Emily Blunt and Anthony Hopkins– this time from Nov. 6 to Feb. 12 next year. Producer Scott Stuber insists the date change is no sign of a creatively-troubled production, but rather a marketing decision meant to take advantage of a three-day holiday weekend. Time will tell which is true. Meanwhile, you can check out the new trailer for The Wolf Man when it takes a bow in theaters before screenings of Quentin Tarantino’s Inglorious Basterds in two weeks.

This movie can’t be good if they are moving to Feb.
I agree with Rob, this movie must be really bad. They’ve already had re-shoots, which is never a good sign. I’m predicting a huge bomb.
I was really looking forward to this movie but no more. I read an article saying they did six weeks of reshoots which is never a good sign. I wouldn’t be surprised if this ended up as a direct to DVD. And as far as a February opening I have two words for you……….GHOST RIDER.
I have read reviews from screening where it seems the latest cut of the movie was very solid. Sounds like a nice R-rated werewolf movie, I hope the studio isn
t messing that up.
Is Benicio reprising his roll as the Wolfman from Big Top Pee Wee?
From the looks of the trailer, I think this movie lokks totally AWESOME! Finally, an update of a really classic werewolf movie that does the original justice and takes it seriously.
