I loved the movie Eclipse but “the so call new victoria” was awful. Rachelle Lefevre was Victoria and after Summit did what they did to her, I will never respect summit again and everytime I see summits name on a movie I want to see, my stomach turns for it is a reminder of them giving up the one and only Victoria. When I was watching Eclipse and scenes were on Victoria, it ruined the movie for me during those scenes. Really, shame on you Summit!
I know my comment’s a little late, but we just watched “Eclipse” and I think Bryce demolished Victoria. That character is supposed to be a strong female role…and Bryce was a mellow, pointy person. She didn’t do anything for me. I liked Rachelle so much better. Just because the actor is “known” doesn’t always make them a better actor.
i think this recast messed up eclipse. rachelle cudd have done a better job.
I didn’t read the Twilight books and only went to the movie because my friend wanted to see it for her birthday but once I saw Victoria as played by LeFevre I thought she was one of best actors in the movie along with Cam G. who died in the first movie. Howard does absolutely nothing for the role and if they continue the series as I have read I hope they bring LeFevre back. I would also like to see Cam G. back. Maybe LeFevre was taking all the thunder away from the leads or something because her portrayal was so striking. Sometimes that happens.
