Russell Crowe will be teaming up with director Paul Haggis to film The Next Three Days, a suburban thriller for Lionsgate, according to Variety. Based on the 2008 French film Pour Elle and scripted by the Crash director, it will feature the Oscar-winning Gladiator star as a school teacher who concocts a wild plot to free his wife from prison after she’s arrested and convicted of a murder she didn’t commit. Crowe is currently in the process of shooting the remake of Robin Hood with director Ridley Scott.

Too many remakes. Please just watch the original. I think we can read subtitles by now.
