Friends and loved ones of multi-talented Waitress actress and screenwriter Adrienne Shelly will pay tribute to her tragically-short career by dedicating a garden in New York City to her name. Variety is reporting that a special tribute ceremony will take place Monday morning at Abdington Square Park, which is located directly across the street from Shelly’s apartment building, where she was murdered in 2006. News of the dedication comes a day after the rights to the film Serious Moonlight –a film penned by Shelly– were bought by Magnolia Pictures.
